Our Story
Since opening its doors in 2005, Champion Taiwan Deli has become one of Las Vegas' most beloved destinations for authentic Taiwanese cuisine. What began as a dream to share the comforting flavors of home has grown into a local institution, earning a loyal following for its traditional Taiwanese breakfast, street food favorites, and homestyle dishes that transport guests straight to Taiwan.
Founder Borman Yang and her family immigrated to the United States in the 1980s, bringing with them generations of recipes and a deep passion for Taiwanese food and hospitality. Wanting to introduce the Las Vegas community to the authentic flavors she grew up with, Borman opened Champion Taiwan Deli with a simple mission: to serve food that reminds people of home while welcoming new guests to experience Taiwan's rich culinary culture.
Over the past two decades, Champion Taiwan Deli has become especially known for its authentic Taiwanese breakfast offerings, including freshly made soy milk, savory pastries, turnip cakes, fan tuan (Taiwanese rice rolls), and other classic street food favorites that are difficult to find elsewhere in the valley. Whether it's someone's first visit or part of their weekly routine, guests return time and again for the quality, authenticity, and warm family atmosphere.
Today, Borman is not only a successful restaurateur but also a proud mother of two and grandmother of five. Her family's story is woven into every meal served, making Champion Taiwan Deli more than just a restaurant—it's a place where tradition, family, and community come together, one authentic Taiwanese dish at a time.
